Profiles
Maria Teresa graduated from Edinburgh Napier University Business School with Honours, and was awarded "Tourism Management Medal" for the year 2011. With a passion for History, she wrote her dissertation on a particular kind of Italian guesthouse called Residenza d'Epoca (literally "Heritage Residence") and more generally on the conversion of historic buildings into guest accomodation facilities. Since very young she has worked in a Residenza d'Epoca in her home country, Italy.
Maria Teresa likes to keep herself busy and is enthusiastic of anything new that comes on her way. As a student, she was involved in all kind of part-time jobs including doing market research for her professors, working in F&B facilities to finance her travelling, taking care of elderly people and selling ice cream in gelaterie.
Her mother tongue is Italian, and she is also fluent in English and French thanks to her experiences overseas particularly in Japan, Canada, New Zealand, France and United Kingdom.
In her free time, Maria Teresa enjoys meeting up with friends and loved ones, attend parties around the world and sun tanning on the beach... possibly eating a huge hazelnut and pistachio ice cream topped with whipped cream!
